Referrals

Anyone may refer a client for professional services to Talk in Action, including prospective clients, themselves. Those prospective clients who have health insurance coverage through their employer, and who expect to be claiming the professional fees I charge for reimbursement, are advised to first contact their employer (or the insurance company) to inquire whether they need a medical doctor's referral to make such claims. (Some third-party health insurance companies also permit direct-billing for speech-language pathology services.)

Prospective clients are welcome to discuss their situation briefly with me by telephone (905-630-3823) or by e-mail (rjwelland@talkinaction.net). New clients will receive instructions about what forms they need to bring with them to their first visit. Those forms are available by clicking on the 'Client Forms' tab.

Health care professionals wishing to make referrals to Talk in Action may do so by telephone (905-630-3823), by regular mail (see 'Contact Me'), or by e-mail (rjwelland@talkinaction.net) (please ensure that all documents are encrypted before sending by e-mail). Referral forms are available by clicking on the 'Referral Forms' tab.
